New SHIP Church - Anaheim United Methodist.
For the past 15 years, SHIP has provided over 425 guests with counseling, shelter, and support. The guests are carefully screened and must demonstrate sincerity in wanting to regain control of their lives. They are referred to us by churches, shelters, and word of mouth.
In December of 2002 the Lord blessed this program when SHIP entered into an agreement with Our Redeemer for the use of the house next door. SHIP uses the house whenever a facility (church) is not available. In addition, Interfaith Shelter Network of Fullerton (ISN), a program closely affiliated with SHIP, uses the house in a similar fashion, to fill holes in their schedule. In 2006 the house is projected to have been utilized for 22 weeks.
SHIP and ISN are deeply appreciative to Our Redeemer for allowing us the use of the “House” next door. The continued operation of these ministries has made a profound effect on many lives. Thanks to the many supporters at Our Redeemer that have helped keep the ministry active. Know that through these ministries, Jesus Christ is alive, miracles are happening, and lives are changing.
Look for SHIP signups in late November and early December.
