Guest Information and Rules
Dear SHIP Guest:
Welcome. Like you, we believe in the goals of this program and so we will make every possible effort to assist you in joining the ranks of the SHIP graduates.
The church grounds are your home. We ask you to please be sensitive to the meetings that are going on during the weekends and weeknights. With mutual respect and consideration, everything will run smoothly.
1.
Sign in/ Sign Out: Be sure that you sign out whenever you leave the church grounds and indicate your expected time of return. Also be sure to sign back in. The sign in/ out sheets are located on a table near the exit door.
2.
Curfew: You are free to come and go as you please, provided you return by 10:00 PM. A SHIP Coordinator must approve any deviation in advance.
3.
Lights Out: If all guests agree, lights out may be earlier than 10:30 PM in the sleeping area. On Friday and Saturday nights, lights may be a while later in the TV area, if all agree.
4.
General Cleaning: Please pick up and clean up after yourself, especially when making your own breakfast, lunch or snacks. Keep the facility neat and orderly. The same goes for the bathrooms. And please wipe the counter after using the sinks.
5.
Showers: The Showers are available before and after dinner and in the morning.
6.
Valuables: The Coordinator can store any valuables. A receipt will be provided.
7.
Smoking: Smoking is permitted only outside the hall and in the adjoining patio area. Please use the butt can.
8.
Laundry: The laundry is located in the adjacent Youth Building. The Coordinator will provide you with all needed supplies. Bedding must be washed weekly. Laundry nights will be Monday and Thursday each week.
9.
Telephone: The hall telephone number is (999) 999-9999. The Coordinator will provide you with the change necessary for calls. You must call the Coordinator if you are going to be late. Always use the pager number

Chores:
Please do the chores for which you are scheduled without being asked. If you are unable to do so for any reason, it is your responsibility to swap with another guest and indicate the change on the schedule.

Dinner Prep: Set the tables for dinner

Dinner Clean Up: Wipe and clean dinner tables. Sweep dining and kitchen areas and empty the trash.

Dishes: Use detergent in dishwasher. Dry with clean dish towel.
•
Bathrooms: Sweep floor, clean sinks, toilets and showers.
•
Mopping: As needed in kitchen, dining and bath areas.
Meals: Use only articles and appliances marked for SHIP.

Snacks: Help yourself to snacks on the snack table, refrigerator and freezer marked SHIP,
•
Breakfast: Help yourself to cold breakfast foods, coffee, juice, and milk available before 7:00 am on weekdays.

Lunch: Lunch foods and bags will be available each evening after dinner for guests to make their own lunches for the following day. Food for making lunches will be available on the weekends.

Dinner: Hot family style dinners will be served at 6:30 PM. Unless working, you are expected for dinner. If unable to attend for a VALID reason, give advance notice to the SHIP Coordinator. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, call at your earliest time available.

Guests: You may occasionally bring a guest if approved by the SHIP Coordinator at least one day in advance.
You are invited to join us for Sunday services. We pray that your stay with us will be enjoyable and an important stage in reaching your goals.
